Tan Songyun, commonly referred to as Seven, is an accomplished Chinese actress and model. With a degree from the prestigious Beijing Film Academy, Tan commenced her acting career in 2005 as a child actor in the TV series “Wild Chrysanthemum.” Since that time, she has graced our screens in numerous successful dramas and films, earning accolades for her remarkable acting abilities.

Having followed the development of this production from its inception, I’ve had the privilege of watching the official trailer that promises a heartwarming and captivating tale.

Gui Xiao and Lu Yan Chen encounter various obstacles that keep them apart. While the latter is relocated to another region due to work commitments, the long-distance relationship between the two proves challenging as their careers demand more of their time and attention. The question remains: Will their childhood connection be strong enough to bring them back together?

In this drama, we follow the compelling tales of the pilots working for a renowned airline. Master of My Own (2022)

In the adaptation of Hong Jiu’s “Please Call Me the Director,” the story follows Ning Meng, portrayed by Tan Songyun, who has harbored a passion for investment direction since childhood. However, as she matures, her aspirations seem to slip away from her grasp. Currently employed at an investment firm under the watchful eye of her boss, Lu Ji Ming (Lin Gengxin), Ning Meng’s dreams are put on hold while she navigates the demanding world of finance under his scrutiny.

Discontent with her stationary existence, Ning Meng decides to leave her job and search for new opportunities. In her fresh work environment, she puts into practice the valuable lessons gleaned from her previous supervisor. Unbeknownst to her, Lu Ji Ming has been quietly supporting her progress from the sidelines. They inspire one another to reach greater heights in their respective professions.
