As a gamer with a soft spot for action-packed holiday movies, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about “The Man With The Bag“! Arnold Schwarzenegger as Santa Claus? Sign me up! And to have Alan Ritchson, fresh off his stint in Reacher and Fast X, joining the cast is an added bonus.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson recently posted a picture from the filming location of their forthcoming Amazon MGM Studios Christmas production, titled “The Man With The Sack“. In this movie, Schwarzenegger assumes the role of Santa Claus.
The photo doesn’t show off too much, but does see the pair standing on a set littered with Christmas decorations. Schwarzenegger is also dressed in a jolly outfit, complete with white hair and a white beard for his role as Santa Claus.

What is The Man With The Bag about?
In the movie mentioned earlier, Arnold Schwarzenegger takes on the iconic role of Santa Claus, who unfortunately loses his enchanted sack of presents. To retrieve it, he enlists the help of a character played by Dave Bautista, who was once a criminal. The film is helmed by director Adam Shankman and features a screenplay penned by Allan Rice. Lawrence Grey, Ben Everard, Reg Tigerman, Dan Spilo, and Ritchscon are involved as producers for this production.
In the movie’s plot summary, we find that when Santa’s enchanted sack is swiped, he seeks assistance from Vance, an ex-thief, to recover it. Accompanied by his child and a motley crew of elfish misfits, Vance embarks on the most daring heist of his career in order to save Christmas.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but marvel at the remarkable trajectory of Jon’s career. Despite having spent decades honing his craft as an actor, it was his captivating performance in the Reacher series on Prime Video that truly catapulted him to stardom. This year, we were thrilled to see him on the big screen in Fast X, and I can hardly wait for his upcoming roles in 2024’s Ordinary Angels and Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. It’s an exciting time to be a fan!
