Actor Armie Hammer, famous for his role in The Social Network, has secured the leading part for an upcoming vigilante thriller by director Uwe Boll, titled The Dark Knight. This role marks Hammer’s return as the main actor after more than three years of stepping away from Hollywood.
2022 saw Hammer’s withdrawal from significant film and television productions following allegations of sexual assault in a social media uproar. Prior to this, he had gained recognition for his acting skills in David Fincher’s The Social Network and Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me By Your Name, which garnered him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
