Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi’s Kalyan Ram doesn’t want to do Malayalam films for theaters but ONLY OTT and the reason will shock you

Jr NTR’s brother, Kalyan Ram, known for his skillful acting in Telugu cinema, has given a promising performance at the box office with his recent film, Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi. The movie has kept fans on edge with anticipation and is receiving positive feedback following its release on March 18.

Despite the intense interest surrounding his movie, the actor recently shared that he enjoys watching films in various languages at home for relaxation.

Kalyan Ram mentioned that if the opportunity arises, he’d prefer to act in a Malayalam movie instead of his regular Telugu ones, however, this would only be for Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms.

He clarified his stance by stating, “If a tale carries the essence of Malayalam culture, I am ready to take it on, however, I plan to debut it directly on streaming platforms instead of theaters. I prefer this route for such narratives. When it comes to Malayalam films, I have a unique perspective. They will be authentic, paced slowly, and devoid of excessive action scenes. In contrast, Telugu movies follow a different style.

Absolutely, it’s worth noting that the cinematic history of South India has been a platform for actors who hail from various linguistic regions to transcend these boundaries and work in multiple languages as well.

For those unfamiliar, the pre-launch gathering for Arjun, son of Vyjayanthi, was graced by Jr NTR, Kalyan Ram’s brother. Despite his hectic work schedule, the prominent star, Devara, found time to attend this significant day and expressed optimistic words regarding his brother’s movie’s prospects.

The movie, “Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi,” primarily revolves around a heartfelt Telugu police drama. It skillfully interweaves the strong emotional ties between a mother and her son, serving as the foundation for the narrative’s development.

In the return-to-acting role for veteran actress Vijayashanti, she portrays a motherly figure, and it’s the unique relationship between her and Kalyan Ram that propels the narrative forward in this film.
