Now, I know what you’re thinkin’, “What in tarnation is RWA?” Well, let me tell you, it’s a fancy way of sayin’ “real-world assets on the blockchain.” And Aptos has got a whole bunch of ’em, with a total value locked (TVL) of $538 million 🤑.
But, as with all good things, there’s a catch. See, on July 12, a whopping 11.31 million APT tokens are set to be released into the wild 🦊. That’s about 1.75% of the total circulating supply, and it’s got investors and ecosystem participants watchin’ the token’s price action like a hawk 🦅.

Aptos’s TVL in RWA has surged 56.28% over the past 30 days, and it’s now sittin’ pretty at $538 million 🤑. It’s trailin’ only Ethereum and zkSync Era in this fast-growin’ sector 🚀.
And let’s not forget, Aptos was recently ranked the highest among more than 10 blockchain contenders for Wyoming’s state-backed stablecoin WYST 🤠. That’s a mighty fine achievement, if I do say so myself 👏.
The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has placed Aptos as the highest-scoring blockchain candidate for WYST—the first fiat-backed stablecoin issued by a U.S State—tying for 1st place with Solana.

Now, I know some folks might be wonderin’ about the price action 🤔. Well, APT is currently tradin’ near $4.38, and it’s been stuck in a fallin’ wedge pattern for months 📉. But don’t you worry, partner, that’s typically a bullish reversal signal 🚀.
