A new featurette video for Captain America 4 has been released.
In a fresh take, Captain America: Brave New World marks the fourth installment of Marvel Studios’ Captain America series, hitting theaters next month. This time around, Anthony Mackie once again takes up the shield as Sam Wilson/Captain America, while Harrison Ford steps into the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who is portraying Red Hulk in this film.

What happens in the Captain America 4 video?
In the “Captain America: Brave New World” behind-the-scenes video, Mackie talks about why he always starts his day with a smile while working on Captain America. He added, “Receiving the shield is incredibly meaningful for me. It’s a deeply personal experience.
Additionally, he expressed that collaborating with Ford was exceptional. “Harrison was both cool and talented,” he said. “It was fascinating to observe him develop a character within such a massive universe. That experience, I would say, is priceless.
Ford commented, “Actors in the Marvel films seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely. So, I figured it might be worthwhile for me to join their fun.
In the video, Kevin Feige noted, “Sam has chosen to fully embrace the role of Captain America. Plus, seeing Harrison Ford as President Ross is just one of the numerous instances that make you feel like you’re dreaming.
At the close of the video, there’s a hint that “plenty more surprises” are yet to be unveiled for fans once Captain America 4 premieres in U.S. cinemas on Valentine’s Day, 2025, as part of Phase Five within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the plot summary, it’s stated that Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Sam Wilson, now officially known as Captain America. Following a meeting with the newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself caught up in a global crisis. He must uncover the source of a sinister worldwide scheme before the hidden villain turns the world into chaos.
