However, when it comes to Sam Wilson’s Captain America suit, its brief appearance at the end of the series left many fans hoping for a longer screen time. Yet, it was Anthony Mackie himself who requested the change due to the mask being incredibly challenging to work with on set.
During a conversation with ICN, the seasoned MCU actor expressed his firm stance: “I made it clear to them that I won’t don that costume again. It was tough… dealing with the heat, the sweat, the fogged-up glasses. It was unbearable. It was my worst nightmare.” Previously, problems with the mask/goggle setup in the series production were disclosed, indicating that some scenes had to be digitally enhanced because the mask wouldn’t fit snugly on his face, causing it to distort around his cheeks and jawline.
Search for the fresh, unmasked version of Captain America hitting cinemas on Valentine’s Day (February 14th). There will be ample room to sit.
