What happens in the Anora trailer?

The video showcases the story of Madison’s dancer, Ani, who swiftly falls for a charming Russian patron at a club. However, things get tangled when she uncovers his hidden truth. The movie “Anora” was created both in front of and behind the camera by Sean Baker, who is also known for “The Florida Project.” Acting in this film are Mark Eydelshteyn, Yuriy Borisov, Karren Karagulian, and Vache Tovmasyan. The executive producers of the project include Ken Meyer, Clay Pecorin, Glen Basner, Alison Cohen, and Milan Popelka. Alongside Sean Baker, Alex Coco and Samantha Quan also serve as producers for this production.

In the plot summary for the movie, it’s mentioned that Anora, a woman who works in Brooklyn as an escort, experiences a Cinderella-like transformation when she encounters and weds the son of a wealthy Russian oligarch. However, when word of their union reaches Russia, her fairy tale romance is put at risk as the parents travel to New York with the intention of annulling the marriage.
