As a fan with a penchant for intricate narratives and stellar performances, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming AI thriller starring Anne Hathaway and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt! Their reunion since their days as Selina Kyle/Catwoman and John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises feels like a delightful throwback to one of my all-time favorite films.

Actress Anne Hathaway will take on the lead role in an upcoming artificial intelligence suspense film, which is being helmed by director Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

In 2012, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anne Hathaway were featured in Christopher Nolan’s movie “The Dark Knight Rises.” In this production, Gordon-Levitt portrayed John Blake, whereas Hathaway took on the roles of Selina Kyle/Catwoman.

As reported by Deadline, Gordon-Levitt and Hathaway are set to collaborate once again on an as-yet unnamed thriller that centers around artificial intelligence.

At present, specifics about the film’s narrative are kept confidential. The production of this movie is being handled by T-Street Productions, a firm co-managed by Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman.

On several occasions prior, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Johnson have collaborated together. In the year 2005, Gordon-Levitt portrayed Brendan Frye in Brick, a role directed by Johnson. Later, in 2012, he shared the screen with Bruce Willis in Looper, another film under Johnson’s direction.

Moreover, Gordon-Levitt made a guest appearance on Johnson’s Poker Face show and secretly starred in both Knives Out movies. His first foray into film direction came with the 2013 release, Don Jon, which was overseen by Bergman.

In a new AI film, Kieran Fitzgerald and Joseph Gordon-Levitt teamed up to pen the script. They collaborated on the storyline alongside Natasha Lyonne, sharing credit for their combined efforts.

In 2024, Anne Hathaway portrayed Soléne Marchand in the film “The Idea of You,” alongside Nicholas Galitzine and under the direction of Michael Showalter. It has been revealed that Hathaway and Showalter will collaborate again for an upcoming movie titled “Verity,” produced by Amazon MGM Studios. This project is based on Colleen Hoover’s 2018 novel of the same name.
