But when it comes to Anime Vanguards, the unique and diverse array of traits has truly captured my attention. The S-tier traits like Monarch, Ethereal, Deadeye, and Blitz are simply game changers, offering substantial stat boosts that can turn the tide of battle in your favor.
As a gamer, if you’re torn between the various Traits for your units, let my Anime Vanguards Tier List be your guide! In this list, I rank all the Traits according to their practicality and the influence they have on a unit’s damage output and other key abilities.
In Anime Vanguards, every character you call forth may arrive accompanied by a distinct personality trait, although some characters might not have one at all.
Additionally, you’ll find a Character NPC offering an opportunity to utilize Trait Reroll Crystals. These can either be used to give a new, random Trait to a selected unit, or to re-roll the current Trait of a unit that already has one assigned.
Since players can have only one Trait active in any unit, the choice of which Trait to choose becomes rather daunting. So, if you are also confused, keep reading my Anime Vanguards Traits tier list.
Anime Vanguards Traits Tier List
As a dedicated anime Vanguard gamer, I’ve compiled my personal tier list for the various traits in the game. This ranking takes into account the effectiveness of their stat boosts across different game modes, how useful they are according to the gaming community and my own preference, and, let’s not forget, the rarity factor that adds a thrill to the chase!
- S-tier: The Traits in this tier are the best as they offer great stat boosts, whether we talk about DMG, Range, or SPA reduction.
- A-tier: The Traits in this tier are great for improving a particular aspect, like Range, EXP gain, etc, of a unit.
- B-tier: The Traits in this tier are good but fail to provide application in battle as the S and A-tier Traits do.
- C-tier: Starter Traits that improve a particular attribute. You can use these if you have no Traits, but try to get the higher-tier Traits as you play.

How To Reroll Traits In Anime Vanguard
In the anime series Vanguard, you have the option to re-roll your Character Traits by visiting Mandra NPC, who is stationed near the Evolve portal in the central Tokyo Plaza hub location.
Visit Mandragoran (Mandra) and engage in conversation until the Trait Reroll option appears. Look for the ‘+’ symbol next to the character’s image to choose the unit whose Trait you wish to change or upgrade with a new one.
Click “Reroll” for a fresh Trait. Continue doing so until you find a desirable one. Remember to monitor your Trait Reroll Crystals on the right, as they can be scarce.
