Anime Style Top-down Shooter Strania: The Stella Machina EX Launches For Switch

Initially, the robot-themed shooting game is exclusive to arcades, but it’s set to become available on Nintendo Switch too in the near future.

According to developer G.rev, the action shoot ’em up game with a robot theme, titled “Strania: The Stella Machina Ex“, is scheduled for release on the Nintendo Switch on January 23rd.

For the very first time, the upgraded edition of “Strania: The Stella Machina” will see its release beyond arcade settings.

Originating from the creators behind acclaimed shooter games such as G-Darius and Border Down, and featuring graphics by Ikaruga’s Hiroshi Iuchu, this game immerses you in a battlefront of an interstellar conflict between two distinct civilizations.

Involving four enormous robots and eleven advanced armaments of catastrophic potential, these weapons can be creatively assembled, enabling a maximum of two players to pick a faction and battle it out in an effort to secure the continuity of their group.

Faster, harder, louder

This new version of the game features:

  • The possibility of playing both sides of the war and choose between the Stranian and the Vowers.
  • 11 different weapons that can be combined in unique ways to create new strategies.
  • Choose between four difficulty modes, to show and improve your skills: Normal, Hard, Expert and Hell.
  • Switch between the original and the new arranged soundtrack by master composer Keishi Yonao.
  • Twice the speed of the original game with maximum performance.

Strania: The Stella Machina EX will be released on January 23 for Nintendo Switch.
