If you happened to overlook the news amidst the holiday hustle and bustle, Angel Studios – known for producing popular titles like the Tuttle Twins, The Wingfeather Saga, Sound of Freedom, Homestead, and Cabrini series – has recently launched a new anime titled Gabriel and the Guardians.
The synopsis of the story is:
Gabriel, an angelic protector, is dispatched to the ominous domain of Ara to retrieve the Eternal Seed – a potent trinket taken from the celestial world. On his journey, he teams up with Nok, a large-game hunter yearning for forgiveness, and Namay’ah, a captivating alchemist royal. United, they traverse perilous landscapes, confront old wickednesses, and uncover truths that might redefine their futures. In a struggle between good and disorder, they need to discover the courage to reestablish harmony before it’s already too late.
As reported by Geek and Gamers:
Gabriel and the Guardians is a movie series inspired by biblical angel tales, focusing on Gabriel’s journey to the human world to combat Nephilim – powerful beings from the Old Testament known for spreading evil. While maintaining Christian themes, Angel Studios has gained popularity in recent years due to their ability to create entertaining, mainstream films rather than preachy ones.
