Andrew Garfield & Jude Law in Talks for Siegfried & Roy TV Show

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that rumors abound about Andrew Garfield and Jude Law potentially taking on roles in a forthcoming limited series by Apple, delving into the legendary Las Vegas pairing of Siegfried and Roy.

What do we know about the Siegfried & Roy TV show?

Based on a recent update from Jeff Sneider at The InSneider, two actors nominated for Oscars are being considered for the roles, though it’s still undecided who will play which character. This project has been in development since 2022 and is the work of John Hoffman, co-creator of Only Murders in the Building. Imagine Television is also involved in the series production.

According to Sneider’s report, Hoffman is slated to take on dual roles as both writer and executive producer for an upcoming series. This series is rumored to be adapted from the Apple Original podcast “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy,” produced by At Will Media. If it proceeds, this would mark another instance of a podcast being transformed into a television show for Apple, following their adaptation of the Wondery podcast “The Shrink Next Door” into a series featuring Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd.

Siegfried & Roy were the famous duo made up of Siegfried Fishbacher and Roy Horn, both German-American illusionists and entertainers who gained renown for their shows in Las Vegas featuring white lions and tigers. Together, they performed from the 1960s until 2003 when Horn suffered a severe injury by a tiger during one of their performances.

2020 saw the passing of Horn at the age of 75, after facing complications related to COVID-19. In 2021, Fishbacher passed away at the age of 81, having fought a tough battle against pancreatic cancer.
