Disney+ has released a new clip from Andor Season 2 starring Diego Luna as Cassian Andor.
What happens in the Andor Season 2 clip?
The recently captured video emphasizes Cassian’s endeavor to snatch a TIE fighter off an Imperial vessel. However, due to his lack of experience with the control system, Cassian faces difficulties in escaping. As a barrage of shots from a troop of stormtroopers comes his way, Cassian retaliates and manages to wipe out all but one.
When Cassian attempts to shoot the solitary soldier, his gun malfunctions, allowing the stormtrooper to recharge his weapon. The scene cuts off before we see the outcome of their standoff.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Andor season 2 follows my character, Cassian, on his journey from a common thief to a pivotal leader within the Rebel Alliance and a key intelligence officer. The story unfolds five years before the events depicted in Rogue One, with season 2 delving into the four-year period leading up to the opening scene of that movie, where Cassian discovers about an Imperial pilot’s defection and the existence of the Death Star weapon.
In addition to Luna, Andor Season 2 features Stellan Skarsgård playing the role of Luthen Rael, Genevieve O’Reilly portraying Mon Mothma, Denise Gough taking on Dedra Meero, Kyle Soller as Syril Karn, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, Faye Marsay as Vel Sartha, Varada Sethu as Cinta Kaz, Elizabeth Dulau in the role of Kleya Marki, Alan Tudyk voicing K-2SO, Ben Mendelsohn reprising Orson Krennic, and Forest Whitaker appearing as Saw Gerrera.
Tony Gilroy is the creator and executive producer of the show known as Andor, alongside Luna, Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Luke Hull, and his brother John Gilroy.
For the creation of Andor season 2, Gilroy pens episodes 1 through 3, followed by Beau Willimon for episodes 4 to 6. Dan Gilroy takes over from episode 7 to 9, and Tom Bissel concludes the series with episodes 10 to 12. As for the directors, Ariel Kleiman handles duties for episodes 1 through 6, Janus Metz steps in for episodes 7 to 9, and Alonso Ruizpalacios guides us through episodes 10 to 12.
In two simple parts,
1) Andor Season 2 is divided into four separate segments, each containing three episodes.
2) Starting from April 22, the initial three episodes will be released exclusively on Disney+.
