As an ardent fan, I have always admired Kichcha Sudeep for his versatility, talent, and charisma. But after witnessing his emotional journey following the loss of his mother, Saroja Sanjeev, I find myself in awe of him on a deeper level.
Actor Kichcha Sudeep experienced a significant emotional upheaval last October following the passing of his mother, Saroja Sanjeev. Despite this challenging period in his life, he’s been able to maintain control and manage both his personal circumstances and work commitments effectively. Lately, he’s shared insights about the hardships he faced, expressing feelings of powerlessness during those tough times.
During an interview for his upcoming movie, Max (Kichcha Sudeep) reminisced about the routine he had of showing his mom a photo of him elegantly dressed, ready to host Bigg Boss Kannada each day.
I simply couldn’t skip a beat, no matter where I found myself, I ensured we shared daily chats and video calls. The playful banter and her jests were moments I held dear. Before stepping into the Bigg Boss reality show arena, I’d model new outfits, strike a pose in front of the mirror, snap a selfie, and without fail, I’d send that photo to my mother.
Despite being widely recognized for his choice to resign from hosting a well-known reality show that he’s long been connected with, Kichcha drew focus when he shared that he lost interest in dressing up for the same following the death of his mother.
Yet, it was apparent that the Max actor understood the weighty obligation he held regarding the program, which in turn enabled him to regain control over his emotions and approach his work with renewed determination.
Kichcha stated, “For some initial episodes, I opted for basic kurtas. Later, I resumed wearing designer clothes. I have a strong sense of obligation and duty towards my work, as the success of others’ livelihoods and my performances are intertwined.
As the conversation drew to a close, Kichcha Sudeep found himself reflecting once more on the difficult times when he personally saw his mother struggle valiantly during her final moments.
The star felt a mix of powerlessness and remorse because there was nothing he could do to aid or console his mother during the critical final stages of her life.
Kichcha pointed out that feeling the loss of his mother’s presence hurts him far deeper than any inconvenience caused by an empty bank account.
On the work front, Kichcha Sudeep’s next release, Max, would hit the theaters on December 25.
