American Horror Story Star Joins Dead By Daylight as New Survivor!

Currently, Dead by Daylight enthusiasts can join in on Behaviour’s Blood Moon event. In April 2025, players have a chance to amass over one million Bloodpoints in total by taking advantage of the event’s daily login rewards and Behaviour’s latest apology-related BP. Although the Blood Moon event is enjoyable, it won’t be long before Dead By Daylight fans can try out a new survivor character. As of now, Behaviour has started hinting at this upcoming addition to Dead By Daylight, while American Horror Story appears to have confirmed their participation as well.

New Dead By Daylight survivor

The brand-new survivor for Dead By Daylight will debut in early May, but players using Steam have the chance to try out this newcomer ahead of time, starting on April 15th through a PTB (Public Test Build) version. At this point, we’ve only confirmed that the character is entirely original and not based on any other license.

Furthermore, it’s clear that this new survivor stands alone, meaning they won’t have any maps or other items with them. At the moment, that’s all we can confirm about this new character. However, BeHaviour has recently released a teaser video on platform X.

The teaser in question is a non-AI generated audio file, as verified by BeHaviour. It appears to suggest the introduction of a character who resembles a nurse, sparking comparisons to the television series Grey’s Anatomy among viewers.

From the teaser released so far by BeHaviour, it seems possible that American Horror Story actress Angelica Ross could be providing the voice for the character. This theory is supported by a post on X, which includes a screenshot showing that Angelica Ross liked a Dead By Daylight Instagram post hinting at a new survivor.

Although this doesn’t definitively prove that Angelica Ross is taking on the role of a nurse, it strongly hints at the possibility. From American Horror Story 1984, Angelica Ross is recognized for portraying Donna Chambers and Nurse Rita, which could potentially support the theory that we might see another nurse character. Additionally, Ross has played The Chemist and Theta in previous seasons of the show.

Although there’s speculation that the latest Survivor might draw inspiration from Nurse Rita in American Horror Story, if Angelica Ross is indeed joining, she will still be portraying a unique original character. It’s not officially a crossover between the two series.

Make sure to keep an eye on DBD socials for more teasers ahead of the PTB on April 15th.
