This exciting two-day Best Picture Showcase is set to take place at participating theaters, serving as a tantalizing prelude to the 2025 Academy Awards. Six years ago, in 2019, a similar event unfolded, and now, we’re all on tenterhooks for more information – specifically, the exact dates and times of this epic cinematic journey.

When are AMC’s Best Picture Marathons for Oscar nominated movies?
The two-day Best Picture Movie Marathon is planned for the afternoons of February 22, 2025, and March 1, 2025. Both sessions will begin at noon.
The schedule for each of these days is as follows:

AMC’s 24-hour Best Picture Oscar marathon theaters and movie schedule
On March 1, 2025, starting at noon, AMC will host a continuous 24-hour screening of Oscar’s Best Picture movies, ending on March 2, 2025, at 1 p.m.
