Amazon is selling an $80 Xbox … sort of

As a long-time Xbox fan and avid gamer, I have to admit that I was taken aback when I heard about Amazon‘s latest bundle offering. The idea of being able to get my hands on an Xbox Wireless Controller, a month of Game Pass, and a Fire TV Stick 4K Max for less than the cost of buying each item individually is certainly enticing.

Amazon has just revealed its latest Xbox bundle, and it doesn’t include an Xbox at all.

I’m thrilled to share that you can get yourself an Xbox Wireless Controller, a month of Game Pass subscription, and a Fire TV Stick 4K Max in a bundled deal right now! This package is priced at just $78.99, making it an incredibly affordable way for me, as a fan, to own a modern games console. Keep in mind though, this isn’t a direct alternative to the Xbox Series X or S.

The Game Pass bundle is a type of subscription offered to new members, but it comes with the downside that you can’t play most of the Day One launch titles that are exclusively available to older subscribers.

Each item costs $119.98 on its own, but by purchasing them as a set, you’ll save approximately $40 on the total price.

It’s your decision whether the value outweighs the $240 cost to renew this subscription.

Previously, we shared that Xbox was informing its users they no longer required an Xbox for certain tasks. This notion is now clearer than ever.
