On October 31, 2024, I can hardly contain my excitement as two of my favorite stars, Sivakarthikeyan and Dulquer Salmaan, will grace our screens with their movies, Amaran and Lucky Baskhar respectively. Recently, in an unexpected encounter, these talented gentlemen were snapped together, leaving me speechless and captivated by the unforgettable photograph they shared with us fans!
I was absolutely thrilled when the stunning Meenakshi Chaudhary, the enchanting Lucky Baskhar actress, posted a picture on her Instagram! In it, Baskhar and Sumthi were seen beaming with joy upon meeting Mukund Varadarajan. Meenakshi herself had captioned the post, “Baskhar and Sumthi had an amazing time with Mukund.” To my delight, Dulquer Salmaan, a fellow admirer, re-shared the story, expressing his hopes that both their films will be embraced by audiences everywhere. This year, two movies – Amaran and Lucky Baskhar – are set to hit the cinemas for Diwali. The film featuring Sivakarthikeyan, titled “The Valiant Heart,” is a biopic that chronicles the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a soldier who sacrificed his life during a counter-terrorism operation for our nation.
In this movie helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Sai Pallavi plays the role of his on-screen spouse. Moreover, the film boasts a talented group of actors such as Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Shreekumar, Shyam Mohan, and Ajaey Naga Raaman in various supporting roles.
However, the film “Lucky Baskhar,” starring Dulquer Salmaan, is a gripping drama-thriller that revolves around the character of a bank employee named Baskhar. The plot unfolds in the 1980s and follows his journey as he attempts to make his way up in his modest social class.
The plot shifts dramatically as he experiences an enigmatic increase in wealth, demonstrating his transformation and journey. In this film directed by Venky Atluri, Meenakshi Chaudhary shares the lead role with him. Alongside, actors like Ayesha Khan, Hyper Aadi, P. Sai Kumar, and others contribute to the supporting roles. Notably, both Amaran and Lucky Baskhar have GV Prakash Kumar responsible for the musical tracks and scores.
In the near future, Actor Sivakarthikeyan will star in a movie directed by AR Murugadoss, provisionally named SK23 or SKxARM. This action-packed thriller is expected to feature a talented group of actors such as Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Vikranth, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and others.
In contrast, you’ll see Dulquer Salmaan in an upcoming Tamil film titled “Kaantha.” This is a period drama, taking place in the city of Madras.
