Lately, they marked a significant milestone by celebrating the anniversary of their first meeting in an intimate home gathering. To add more joy to this memorable event, they also celebrated the two-month birthday of their adorable son, Ilai.
Recently on Instagram, Amala Paul shared several pictures showcasing her husband Jagat Desai and their son Ilai. They celebrated two special occasions at home by enjoying a delicious cake, snuggling their little one, and taking some sweet, candid photos together.
Apart from the photos, Amala composed a note as well. On both special events – our first meeting anniversary and Ilai turning two months old – she expressed her joy by writing, “Celebrating our First Meet Anniversary and Ilai’s two months together on 11-08-24.”
For those not familiar, actress Amala Paul tied the knot with businessman Jagat Desai in 2023. Approximately a year after that, they welcomed their first child, a son named Ilai, into their family.
Notably, Amala Paul has managed to skillfully juggle her responsibilities as a mother with her successful acting career in the film industry. Yet, she frequently faces criticism from skeptics.
In other words, while promoting her movie “Level Cross” at St Albert’s College in Kochi, the actress drew notice due to what seemed like a daring outfit choice. More precisely, she donned a little black dress (LBD) that had a deep neckline.
In response to criticisms about her clothing being improper, Amala argued during a press conference that it was actually the camera’s angle, not her attire, that gave the appearance of being inappropriate.
She added, “I chose clothing that felt right for me, and it was suitable for the event. However, it might be the camera’s angle or lighting that made my outfit appear inappropriate. I can’t do anything about how it’s presented.”
In terms of her professional life, Amala Paul recently appeared in the psychological thriller movie “Level Cross,” which was newcomer director Arfaz Ayub’s first film. This movie premiered in cinemas on July 26, 2024, but it garnered only an average reaction from audiences at the box office.
