The short story “Altar” was penned by Will Soodik from Westworld and originally created by Philip Fricassi. While the details of its plot remain shrouded in mystery, it’s clear that this horror movie centers around a young boy who experiences an unexpectedly rapid maturation during a single summer.

Kyle MacLachlan (known for Twin Peaks and Fallout) and January Jones (renowned for her work on Mad Men) are teaming up with David Krumholtz (Oppenheimer’s cast member) and new acting talent Lily Collias (from Good One). Additionally, Hudson Behling joins the project as a newcomer.
Egor Abramenko, a renowned filmmaker, has amassed accolades for creating commercials and music videos for major brands such as Google, Visa, BMW, and Budweiser.
Abramenko launched his film career with the 2020 sci-fi horror hit, Sputnik. This movie was based on his earlier work, a 2017 short film titled The Passenger. At one point, Matt Reeves was slated to oversee a modern adaptation of it in English around 2021.
During the intense Cold War era, an incident involving a Soviet spacecraft occurs. The spacecraft experiences complications during its mission, resulting in a forced landing and leaving only the commander alive. A distinguished Russian psychologist is summoned to assess the commander’s wellbeing. However, it soon transpires that the commander may have brought something harmful back to Earth with him.
