Allu Arjun is preparing to transition from the huge success of Pushpa 2 and ready himself for upcoming projects, including a collaboration with director Trivikram Srinivas. Though fans have been eagerly anticipating more information about this project, the film’s producer has recently revealed some details.
During a gathering at the MAD Square movie event, producer Naga Vamsi was inquired about potential delays in Allu Arjun’s upcoming project with Trivikram Srinivas. Additionally, he was asked if filming for the movie would commence this month.
In response, the producer stated that the film wouldn’t be starting production this month. He further clarified that the production for Allu Arjun’s movie along with Trivikram Srinivas won’t commence until the latter part of the year.
Naga Vamsi said “No nothing like that. It’s in the second half of the year.”
In January 2025, according to a Telugu Chitraalu report, it was stated that the actor from Pushpa 2 will portray the character of Lord Karthikeya in an upcoming film directed by Trivikram Srinivas. This movie is expected to retell the tale of the War God as he reconnects with his father, Lord Shiva.
Additionally, the report also mentioned that this movie is a blend of societal themes and mythology, presented as a grand, fantastical production.
At present, it’s uncertain whether or not the rumored project will materialize, as we’re still waiting for official confirmation.
Previously unmentioned, this upcoming project signifies the fourth time the filmmaker and Allu Arjun have worked together. Their initial joint venture was the movie “Julayi,” debuting in 2012.
Currently, there are rumors that Allu Arjun is working alongside director Atlee on a nationwide project. There’s been some chatter about a potential delay in his collaboration with Trivikram Srinivas, but reports suggest that Allu Arjun and Janhvi Kapoor may star together in the movie directed by Atlee.
Lately, another source noted that after the hit-and-miss performances of movies such as Sankranthiki Vasthunam and Game Changer, Allu Arjun has expressed interest in collaborating with producer Dil Raju on a film under his production house, provided the script and director are carefully selected.
