Actor Allu Arjun is gearing up for his first venture with director Atlee, and their upcoming sci-fi project – tentatively called AA22xA6 – has been sparking interest online. When asked about this collaboration during the WAVES Summit 2025, Allu Arjun spoke candidly about the film and shared some significant developments during a panel discussion.
Allu Arjun praised the idea that Atlee presented, admiring the filmmaker’s shared vision of inventive thinking. He also stated that the upcoming movie aspires to offer a unique visual spectacle for Indian viewers. In his opinion, the project will boast an expansive global appeal while maintaining a strong connection to Indian sentiments and traditions.
Allu Arjun shared that this is his 22nd collaboration with director Atlee, who has produced hit films such as Jawan and more in the South. He expressed enthusiasm about the concept Atlee presented to him, appreciating his ambitions and finding a deep connection on several levels. Together, they aim to deliver an entirely fresh visual experience to Indian cinema. This project promises to offer a universally appealing presentation with distinctly Indian sensibilities.

At the WAVES Summit 2025, Allu Arjun shared insights into his background and the impact of his family on his acting career. He expressed gratitude for growing up in a movie-oriented household, as it kept him grounded. Furthermore, he pointed out that while some in the Northern regions may be unaware, people in the Southern parts are fully cognizant of his grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah’s enduring legacy.
Apart from discussing his own role, he talked about his renowned father, Allu Aravind, a significant producer in the South Indian film industry who has been involved in nearly 70 films. He didn’t fail to acknowledge his uncle, Megastar Chiranjeevi, whom he considers one of his greatest inspirations.
Arjun spoke about his upbringing in a large family, mentioning that having numerous siblings made him stay grounded. He explained that it instilled in him the importance of recognizing the assistance he’s received. The Arya actor is not one to boast about being self-made; instead, he acknowledges that his personal growth has been shaped by the combined efforts of his family, directors, crew members, and supporters.
