During a press event in Hyderabad, Allu Aravind, who is both Allu Arjun’s father and producer, spoke up about the criticism he received following his comments perceived as criticizing his nephew Ram Charan’s movie, Game Changer, after its poor performance at the box office. These remarks instigated criticism and online trolling among fans of the Mega family, leading to upset feelings among them. Now, Allu Aravind has chosen to clarify these allegations.
He freely discussed the dispute and made it clear that his comments to producer Dil Raju during the Thandel pre-release event were unintentional. The producer clarified that he was merely pointing out how Dil Raju encountered both success and failure in a brief span of time. In response to the criticism, Allu Aravind acknowledged the negative remarks but maintained that his statement lacked any hidden connotations.
On that very day, when I had the chance to speak with Dil Raju, all I wanted to express was my observation that he experienced both gains and losses within the span of a single week. Unfortunately, my words were twisted and misconstrued, resulting in a torrent of trolls attacking me online.
At the news conference, Allu Aravind reinforced that his relationship with Ram Charan remains robust and requested everyone to put the matter behind them. He referred to Ram Charan as his son and pointed out that he is the only paternal uncle Ram Charan has from his mother’s side. He acknowledged that discussing the issue was a mistake, and subsequently declined to answer any further questions about it.
Allu Aravind stated, ‘He’s more like a son to me… he is my sole offspring; I am his sole father. Our bond is strong, so let’s just keep it that way. I realize now I shouldn’t have even mentioned it in the first place.’
To clarify for those curious about the start of the Thandel event, Allu Aravind playfully remarked about Dil Raju. He highlighted that in a brief span, Dil Raju had experienced both triumph and setback in his film career. Mimicking a seesaw motion, he suggested that one of his films didn’t fare as well while another was a hit.
Ram Charan’s fans were upset by these comments, and swiftly used their social media platforms to voice their concerns. Yet, when Allu Aravind intervened, it appears that the situation has been effectively resolved.
