As a seasoned Hunt: Showdown gamer, with countless hours spent navigating the treacherous swamps of Atropos Island, I’ve eagerly welcomed the arrival of the Scorched Earth event and its accompanying Weekly Challenges. The thrill of competition and the tantalizing promise of Event Points and Blood Bonds have always been a potent brew that keeps me coming back for more.
1896 sees the occurrence of the Scorched Earth event in Hunt: Showdown, introducing numerous Weekly Quests for players. By successfully completing these quests, players can amass vast amounts of Event Points and a few Blood Bonds. New sets of Weekly Quests become available every seven days, so be sure to check back often to stay updated on the latest challenges.
Where to find the Weekly Challenges
To locate the Weekly Challenges, start by clicking on the tab at the top of the screen labeled “Home”. Then, you can either click on the “Progression” tab located on the left side or simply scroll down until you reach that section. The Weekly Challenges tile is positioned next to Bloodline and Dark Tribute. An alternative method is to observe the right side of the Bounty Hunt pre-game screen, as all Weekly Challenges are displayed there.
Scorched Earth Weekly Challenges
The Scorched Earth event is set to continue until October 7, 2024, and during this period, new Weekly Challenges will be activated each week. Every player can engage in five Weekly Challenges, but those who invest in the Battle Pass will receive an additional task to complete for extra Event Points.
If all Weekly Challenges offer the same number of Event Points, and since there are seven weeks of challenges, and if you buy the Battle Pass, then you can accumulate a total of 42,000 Event Points.
Week 1
The Week 1 challenges are all pretty straightforward. The most difficult ones will be setting enemy Hunters on fire and defeating the Hellborn Wild Target. Be sure to purchase a Krag and use a Pistol until you knock out those two tasks.
- Visit 20 compounds (Battle Pass exclusive) (1500 EP)
- Collect 18 Clues or Close Rifts (750 EP, 10 BB)
- Land 10 shots on enemy Hunters using Pistols (750 EP, 10 BB)
- Kill 3 Hellborn (1000 EP, 10 BB)
- Set 10 living enemy Hunters on fire (1000 EP, 10 BB)
- Deal 1000 damage to enemy Hunters using any variant of Krag (1000 EP, 10 BB)
