As an old-time gamer with a heart full of nostalgia and a soul yearning for adventure, I must say that Black Myth: Wukong has truly captured my imagination. The Loong Bosses are an intriguing secret group hidden within this game, and the thrill of the hunt is exhilarating!
In the game Black Myth: Wukong, there exists a clandestine faction of adversaries known as the Loong Bosses. Overcoming them all can be quite challenging, yet the effort is rewarded with significant perks that significantly ease your journey ahead.
Where to find all the Loong Bosses in Black Myth: Wukong
To locate all the Loong Bosses in Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll initially require the Loong Scale. Obtain it during Chapter 2. Following your battle with the King and Second Prince of the Flowing Sands, situated just outside Sandgate Village in Chapter 2, proceed to the left side. Then, delve into the caves nestled near the Valley of Despair Shrine for your search.
In this location, you’ll encounter another royal family member, the First Prince of the Sands, who flows like a river. During the ensuing battle, you may instruct him to collide with the decorated cave wall on one side. Once the battle concludes, he will break through it, creating an opening. You can then proceed through the breach post-battle to discover the Loong Scale.
If you find yourself unable to proceed in any other way, feel free to utilize the Wandering Wight Spirit’s unique ability to charge through walls. With our new Loong Scale, it’s now time for us to locate and confront the four Loong bosses.
As you approach your opponents during gameplay, you’ll begin to notice a voice whispering verses of a poem in your ear. This serves as an indication that you’re nearing the location where you can engage in battles with the bosses. It’s a handy clue to help guide you towards your objective.
Chapter 1 – Red Loong
In Chapter 1, Red Loong is situated within the Wolf Forest. It initially appears outside the Forest Shrine. Proceed along the path, turning left at the first opportunity. Continue taking almost every subsequent left until you reach an elevated mound that you can leap over. This action will lead you to a pond and a waterfall. Position yourself in front of the cascade, and you’ll be instructed to employ the Scales.
This will stop the water, allowing you access to Red Loong’s hiding place, the Loong Claw Grove.
Chapter 2 – Black Loong
In Chapter 2, the Black Loong is nestled within the Rockrest Flat Shrine on Fright Cliff. Upon reaching the shrine, glance to your right and you’ll spot a cascading sand wall atop some stairs. Utilize the Loong Scales to halt this sandfall, granting access to the Concealed Loong Den where you can engage with the Black Loong in combat.
Chapter 3 – Cyan Loong
In Chapter 3, you’ll discover Cyan Loong on Turtle Island, nestled within Bitter Lake. As you progress through the game’s narrative, you’ll eventually encounter a climactic boss battle atop the snow-covered peaks of the turtle’s back. Upon completing this challenge, venture to the right side of the turtle’s back, where you’ll find Cyan Loong, seemingly frozen on the edge of the island.
Chapter 4 – Yellow Loong
In Webbed Hollow, close to the Ruins of the Vanquished Dragon Shrine (Loong Shrine), you’ll discover Yellow Long. To encounter him, ensure you’ve successfully defeated all three preceding bosses first. Once you conquer Yellow Dragon (Yellow Loong), you’ll receive the Sea-Strengthening Sinew as a reward. With this, you can craft the Golden Dragon Staff, the Golden Carp trinket, some Kun Metal, and most significantly, his staff. Gathering the latter will activate the Golden Embellishment Transformation for you.
