As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that Black Myth: Wukong has been a refreshing addition to my gaming library. The Yellow Wind Ridge and its Fright Cliff have proven to be quite the challenge, but the thrill of discovery is unparalleled.
In the course of exploring Black Myth: Wukong’s Yellow Wind Ridge, you’ll encounter the ominous Fright Cliff. This zone is guarded by terrifying rats and intelligent rock creatures. Here, your mission will be to locate numerous Buddha statues with luminous eyes scattered around – here’s where they can all be found.
What to do with the Buddha Eyes
Should you’ve discovered a Buddha Eye and are eager to learn more about its function, take it to the combat zone located atop Rockcrest Flat in Fright Cliff. This is where you engage the formidable Stone Vanguard. Near the entrance on the left side, there’s an unusual stone with multiple faces. Interact with this stone to hand over your Buddha Eyes.
Performing this action could awaken a colossal stone spirit named Shigandang, who’ll function as a secret adversary. Should you invoke him amid your battle against the Vanguard, there’s a chance he’ll handle the situation for you instead.

Buddha Eye #1
As I ventured along, right before reaching the hidden lair of Squall, a forgotten statue head caught my eye. Upon closer inspection, I found two radiant golden orbs – the elusive first Buddha Eye! Interacting with these luminous eyes rewarded me with the addition of this sacred artifact to my collection.
Buddha Eye #2
Heading from Squall’s Hideout Shrine, I’m making my way up the right-sloping trail of the main gorge. Over yonder on the right, there’s some aged wooden scaffolding that’s got a couple of guards keeping watch. I’ll need to deal with them before I scale those stairs leading to the peak. Once I reach the top, I’ll set my sights on the next eye – that’s where it’s at!
Buddha Eye #3
Looking towards the other end of the gorge, you’ll spot the third abandoned head resting there. Carefully navigate towards it, mindful of the sandy area concealing a stone beast nearby.
Buddha Eye #4
To locate the third Buddha head, proceed to its left, descending the ravine slightly until you spot a fissure in the cliff. Pass through this opening, and on the opposite side, you’ll notice a dimly lit area. Inside that spot is the fourth head, but beware, some cunning adversaries are safeguarding it. Eliminate them all before collecting the eye.
Buddha Eye #5
Follow the path upward into the ravine until you reach the Rockcrest Flat Shrine. Two eye-like structures are located close by. The initial one is easy to spot, as it’s almost straight ahead on your left, nestled near the cliff wall and close to a standing stone.
Buddha Eye #6
Obtaining the ultimate Buddha Eye can be challenging. To reach it, proceed to a cave situated on the left side of Rockcrest Flat Shrine, then veer right. A steep ascent awaits, with numerous adversaries blocking your path. One of these opponents is particularly formidable, as he harbors a potent Spirit that you can capture. Defeat them all, and at the summit, locate the crack in the wall to the right. Here lies the sixth and final Buddha head, from which you can extract its eye.
