As a longtime fan of the Alien franchise, I can’t help but get excited every time a new piece of merchandise is revealed that pays homage to this iconic series. The latest addition to the list is the Xenomorph popcorn bucket from Cinemark, which perfectly captures the terrifying essence of the Alien creature.
A fresh design for a popcorn bucket themed after the new Alien: Romulus Xenomorph, set to be released along with another announced bucket for the upcoming film, has surfaced.
Cinemark has unveiled a fresh new popcorn bucket design: a Xenomorph-inspired model. This innovative bucket boasts the distinctive head of the iconic alien creature. A compact compartment hidden within the head serves for storing popcorn. Additionally, it appears that the bottom sports a handle or lip for easy carrying.
As an avid moviegoer and popcorn enthusiast in 2024, I’ve noticed an intriguing trend: the emergence of uniquely designed popcorn buckets that have left quite an impression. It all started with the Dune: Part Two bucket, which sparked mass amusement as people drew comparisons to certain body parts. Now, another contender has joined this quirky lineup – none other than the Alien: Romulus popcorn bucket. With its distinctive shape and uncanny resemblance to an extraterrestrial being, it’s already making waves in theaters and social media alike!
A week ago, an alien figure resembling Romulus from the Alien series with a facehugger was unveiled. Additionally, an adult-themed popcorn bucket featuring Deadpool and Wolverine is set to go on sale upon the movies’ theater release.

As an avid fan of the Alien franchise, I’m excited to share that we have a new addition coming up – the seventh mainline installment, if we count only the Alien films, or the ninth including the crossovers with Predator. Following the original 1979 Alien and its sequel Aliens in 1986, there’s been a rich tapestry of stories. We’ve had Alien 3 (1992), Alien Resurrection (1997), Alien vs. Predator (2004), Aliens vs Predator: Requiem (2007), Prometheus (2012), and Alien: Covenant (2017). Now, we’re in for another thrilling adventure with Alien: Romulus. This new film is set between the events of Alien and Aliens, promising an intriguing exploration of the universe that has captivated us for decades.
