Alien: Earth’s Noah Hawley Teases Series’ Xenomorph: ‘Lock Your Door That Night’

As a seasoned gamer and die-hard fan of the Alien franchise, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming FX series, Alien: Earth. Having spent countless hours battling Xenomorphs in various video games, I’ve grown quite familiar with their terrifying presence. But to see them roaming freely on our very own planet Earth? That’s a whole new level of fear that I can’t wait to experience!

The Xenomorph in Alien: Earth will be chilling.

The show “Alien” is a new FX series that follows the Alien franchise and takes place before the 1979 film directed by Ridley Scott. Created by Noah Hawley, it’s set to debut on television in 2025.

Speaking with Deadline, Hawley hinted at an “extremely frightening” Xenomorph set to appear in the upcoming series.

What did Noah Hawley say about Alien: Earth’s Xenomorph?

As a gamer, let me tell you, there’s an eerie thrill when a Xenomorph appears in the untamed landscapes of Earth. Just imagining it blending with us is bone-chilling. I can’t reveal how or where, but trust me, you’ll witness it. And on that night, you’ll be double-checking your locks for sure.

As a gamer, what truly got my adrenaline pumping was immersing myself in crafting this creepy critter. While keeping its overall shape untouched, I added some personal touches to the design, making it feel more authentic and terrifying. After all, the initial concept sets the stage for the final creature’s appearance. I had a blast tweaking things here and there to ensure the end result was as spine-chilling as possible.

In contrast to most of the Alien series, which unfolds in outer space, Xenomorphs have made their way to Earth in two Alien vs. Predator films – specifically, Alien vs. Predator (released in 2004) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (from 2007).

In the synopsis for the upcoming TV show, “Alien: Earth,” we find that a strange spaceship lands on our planet, and a youthful woman named Sydney Chandler, along with an assorted band of military operatives, stumble upon an ominous secret. This encounter sets them against the most formidable danger Earth has ever known, as depicted in this FX production by creator Noah Hawley. The original series is slated for release in 2025, and it will be exclusive to Hulu.

2025 marks the debut for “Earth” in cinemas worldwide. Meanwhile, the newest Alien movie, titled “Alien: Romulus,” is now showing in theaters across the U.S.
