As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for WWE and a deep affection for AJ Lee, I must admit that her recent interview left me both intrigued and amused. With her unique blend of charm, honesty, and humility, she manages to captivate fans like myself in the most endearing way possible.
AJ Lee, the previous WWE Divas Champion, has weighed in on the longstanding rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. This fierce conflict ignited at the WWE Royal Rumble when McIntyre hurt Punk, keeping him out of action until WWE SummerSlam.
The situation worsened as Drew McIntyre swiped CM Punk’s cherished bracelet, an emotional token from a fan bearing the names of AJ Lee and their dog, Larry. McIntyre taunted and manipulated Punk with the bracelet. Nevertheless, Punk retrieved the trinket following his victory over McIntyre in a strap match at the WWE Bash in Berlin.
Following the theft of his prized bracelet, Drew McIntyre exploded with fury and viciously assaulted CM Punk, damaging the homemade trinket in the process. This incident has only served to fuel their animosity, culminating in WWE confirming a match between them at Hell in a Cell during Bad Blood.
For quite a while now, fans have been discussing the possibility of AJ Lee coming back to WWE, considering her recurring references during ongoing conflicts. The previous WWE Divas Champion has finally spoken out about this feud and her part in it.
What did AJ Lee say about CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre feud?
AJ Lee shares her thoughts about the CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre feud: “To be completely honest, it’s like a mystery to me – I’m not directly involved, and I mainly catch up due to women’s wrestling, which is my area of interest. However, I do know that my dog is quite popular…

In a chat with Comicbook.com, AJ Lee discussed her part in the current CM Punk and Drew McIntyre saga. She mentioned that she’s not entirely caught up because she chooses not to watch her spouse’s matches as they happen, due to old superstitions.
She explained that she’s completely clueless about the current situation, adding that she has a peculiar aversion to watching her husband grapple live due to fear. It’s as if there’s some strange superstition at play. Moreover, it’s similar to coming home from work and immediately checking your emails; it feels like that. If people can comprehend, she said. Lee further disclosed that she tends to stay on the fringes and is usually kept informed mostly about women’s matters due to her personal interests.
Beyond this, AJ Lee shared her passion for women’s wrestling, keeping up-to-date largely through her husband, CM Punk. Her favorite WWE stars at present are Bayley and Naomi. She stated, “I haven’t quite caught up with the storyline. Suddenly, my dog is famous! He’s got some new merch on the way. I’ve been in the loop about that. But it’s great. I’m thrilled that he’s doing well and thriving. I feel a sense of pride.
Essentially, AJ Lee appeared pleased about her husband’s achievements and health within WWE. Yet, it appears that a comeback to the wrestling ring on her part may not be imminent.
