As a devoted viewer, I can’t help but express my excitement over the continuation of one of the most captivating series I’ve ever watched – “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.” This gripping first season delved deep into the life and chilling crimes of America’s notorious serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer. In a thrilling turn of events, Netflix announced in November 2022 that they would be renewing the show for not just one, but two additional seasons!

In the upcoming series, Nicholas Chavez takes on the role of Lyle Menéndez, while Cooper Koch is cast as Erik Menéndez. Joining them in the principal cast are Javier Bardem, Chloë Sevigny, Nathan Lane, Ari Graynor, Dallas Roberts, and Leslie Grossman.

It appears there’s been talk about the next season of Monster, and according to Reel Chicago, this season will focus on notorious American serial killer John Wayne Gacy. Similar to Dahmer and the Menendez Brothers, Gacy is one of the most notorious criminals in U.S. history. Not only was he a murderer, but he was also a sexual predator. Known as the “Killer Clown”, he frequently entertained at children’s parties and charitable events disguised as a clown.

From 1972 to 1978, John Wayne Gacy took the lives of at least 33 teenage boys and young men, all these killings occurred within his home in Chicago. On March 13, 1980, he was sentenced to death, and on May 10, 1994, he faced execution by lethal injection.

Based on Reel Chicago’s report, it’s speculated that filming for Season 3 of the show will occur in Chicago over a span of 20 days, between late January and early February 2025. But remember, neither Netflix nor the creative team behind the show have officially verified this claim yet. For now, it remains only a rumor.

As soon as Netflix announces the terrifying character that will be featured in the upcoming third season, we’ll make sure to inform you promptly. However, until then, prepare yourself to stream “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story“, which is set to premiere on Netflix on September 19th.
