After Alia Bhatt, Trisha Krishnan wants to work with Fahadh Faasil: ‘No matter what…’

It appears that Trisha Krishnan has expressed interest in collaborating with the highly demanded actor Fahadh Faasil. During a recent promotion event for Thug Life, she spoke positively about the actor and named Aavesham as her preferred movie from recent releases.

When asked who she’d love to collaborate with among Malayalam actors, the actress replied enthusiastically, “Definitely Fahadh Faasil! I really hope we can act together someday. It doesn’t matter if it’s a drama, comedy, or any other genre; I believe he would deliver an outstanding performance.

Among the movies I adore is Aavesham, and regardless of the film’s genre, I aspire to collaborate with him,” the actress Leonardo said. Remarkably, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt recently echoed this sentiment during her Cannes Festival visit.

Speaking about the remarkable acting abilities in Indian cinema, the Jigraa actress expressed her deep respect for Fahadh Faasil, stating that he is an actor she greatly admires due to his exceptional talent. Among her favorite films is Aavesham, and she would jump at the opportunity to collaborate with him in future projects.

Furthermore, the actress gratefully acknowledged her good fortune of collaborating with Roshan Mathew on Darlings. She emphasized his exceptional acting skills, noting that he has been a rising star in Malayalam cinema and is now gaining recognition in Hindi film industry too.

On the professional side of Trisha Krishnan, she is gearing up for her next role, starring as the lead actress in the movie titled Thug Life, helmed by renowned director Mani Ratnam. This film is an action-packed gangster story that also stars Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR in pivotal roles. The plot revolves around Rangaraya Sakthivel Naicker, a character reminiscent of the Yakuza, who took in a street kid named Amaran from Mumbai at some point in his life.

As his surrogate child, I was believed to have claimed Sakthivel’s life, a fact that haunts me. Yet, the tables have turned, as he rises from the dead, seeking retribution. Consequently, our relationship transforms into a lethal confrontation in this captivating film narrative.

In addition to those already named, the film also stars Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, and others in significant parts.

On a different note, Fahadh Faasil completed filming for his upcoming comedy movie titled Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, directed by Althaf Salim. In addition to this project, he also has films such as Maareesan and the multistarrer tentatively named MMMN in the pipeline.
