As a long-time follower and observer of Adin Ross‘s captivating streaming journey, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and curiosity about his latest move. The young entertainer has always been known for his ability to adapt and thrive in any environment, much like a chameleon changing colors to blend into different streaming platforms.
24-year-old internet personality Adin Ross has declared his intention to resume streaming on Twitch, and he plans to temporarily depart from Kick, a rival platform. The reason for this change in platforms at this point is not yet clear.
Here’s everything you need to know regarding Ross’s apparent departure from Kick.
Adin Ross leaves Kick to stream on Twitch
On Saturday, Adin Ross announced on social media that he’s planning to quit Kick and give Twitch another try. He didn’t explain the reasons for this move yet, but promised to share more details in a future video.
According to the post, the creator announced they’ll produce a comprehensive video explaining their decision to depart from Kick permanently. They have officially stepped down and plan to reveal all details about this situation within the week. Meanwhile, Adin Ross informed his followers that he intends to concentrate on getting reinstated on Twitch, expressing gratitude as reported by The Express Tribune.
Following several months of conjecture about Adin Ross potentially switching to other streaming platforms like Twitch or Rumble, there were claims made by fellow streamer Nico Sneako that Ross was planning to leave Kick for Rumble. However, in response to these rumors, Kick’s CEO, Ed Craven, stated in November that he considers Adin Ross an “extremely valuable member” of their platform’s community. Nevertheless, Craven emphasized that the success of his company is not solely dependent on Ross’s presence.
Before moving over to Kick, Adin Ross primarily broadcasted his streams on Twitch. Following three suspensions, the latest of which was an indefinite ban in February 2023, Ross secured a contract with Kick.
As I write this, Twitch hasn’t responded yet to Ross’ comments regarding his desire to rejoin the platform as a content creator.
