At a recent interview, director Adhik Ravichandran officially announced that he will be teaming up with Ajith Kumar again for the movie titled Ak64. He affirmed their collaboration for the second time and hinted at the potential similarities between this new project and the film Good Bad Ugly.

According to him, “I will be working on the next movie alongside Ajith Kumar sir. I’m thrilled about it as I’ve been given the chance for AK64. This film will differ from Good Bad Ugly and promises to delight fans.

Ajith Kumar spilled beans on starting his next project

Following my recent successes with “Vidaamuyarchi,” “Good Bad Ugly,” and an impressive streak in racing films, I’m eagerly anticipating the next project that I, Ajith Kumar, will embark upon. The spotlight is squarely on me now.

Previously, during an interview with The Indian Express, the actor revealed that his upcoming project is in the works and hinted at the start date of filming.

He mentioned that if he manages to fit a movie into the timeframe from November to February, it would mean an annual film release for him and allow more focus on his racing schedule. He plans to start working on a new project in November of this year, with an estimated release date somewhere around April or May 2026.

When Ajith Kumar talked about making a race movie in India

Due to the surge of enthusiasm among fans for the high-speed racing movie F1, Ajith Kumar has hinted at the potential creation of a similar production within India.

Additionally, he expressed his interest in participating or even taking the lead role, given his dual roles as an actor and racer, should such a project come up.

According to a post by industry insider Laxmi Kanth on X, the actor mused, “Perhaps it would be a Fast and Furious movie or an F1 race. Since I usually perform my own stunts in films, maybe I’ll star in a Fast and Furious sequel… or an F1 follow-up film.
