Adam Sandler talks about his daughter meeting Taylor Swift
Adam Sandler can’t stop praising Taylor Swift for her charming encounters with his daughters, as he shared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. When asked whether his daughters Sadie and Sunny have crossed paths with the multiple Grammy-winning artist, Sandler couldn’t help but express his thoughts.
In a recent disclosure, Sandler mentioned that he’s crossed paths with Swift multiple times throughout the years. Moreover, he spoke highly of her, remarking that she is exceptionally kind and welcoming. He further emphasized that Taylor has been incredibly kind to his family, always showing genuine warmth.
Significantly, for quite some time, Sandler and his family had been devoted Taylor Swift enthusiasts. In August 2023, they attended her Eras tour at a Los Angeles concert. Subsequently, he accompanied his 17-year-old and 14-year-old daughters to the premiere of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film in Los Angeles, which took place in October of that year.
Previously, during an interview, Sandler mentioned that he and his daughters have a shared appreciation for Taylor Swift’s music. When asked about his favorite song by Taylor Swift, Sandler replied, “I enjoy every song they play, but one of the first ones they played when they were younger was ‘The Best Day.’
The actor shares with his daughters the tradition of listening to new albums on their release day, and they are so familiar with the songs that they can recite every word by heart (according to Billboard).
In the very same ET interview, the actor expressed his feelings about collaborating with his daughters on Happy Gilmore 2. As a father, he confided that he experienced a sense of “deep relief.” This is similar to when parents of a baseball player watch their child get a hit during a game and exclaim, “Thank goodness!” It’s all about the immense relief that comes from witnessing something you’ve been hoping for.
