A number of celebrity homes have been destroyed in the Los Angeles region due to the ongoing fires.
On Tuesday, numerous wildfires erupted across the Los Angeles region, inflicting extensive destruction. Many individuals have sustained injuries, and sadly, at least two lives have been lost. Over 2,000 homes and structures were razed due to the fires.
As a devoted admirer, I’m deeply saddened to share that stars like Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, and Diane Warren, among others, have tragically lost their homes due to the devastating wildfires sweeping through Los Angeles.
What are celebrities based in L.A. saying about the fires?
Reality television stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag also lost their home in the fires.
In an Instagram post, Pratt shared one glimmer of hope as our home went up in flames: our son’s bed had been charred into a heart shape. This symbolized the abundant love that filled our house, and we are grateful for the many years and treasured memories created within its walls with our loved ones.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share an emotional message from Cameron Mathison, a beloved star on General Hospital. He recently posted on Instagram: “Our family is safe, but sadly, our cherished home has been damaged by the raging fires. This was the place where our children grew up and dreamed of raising their own families one day. I want to thank everyone who reached out and expressed concern. Due to the overwhelming response, I can’t respond individually, but I wanted to provide an update here. My thoughts are with everyone impacted by these fires. Sending prayers and strength to all.

Jamie Lee Curtis posted a video, saying, ‘Our cherished community is destroyed. Our home survived. Sadly, many others have lost everything. If you can, please offer help. A big thank you to the emergency workers and firefighters.’

On January 8, 2025, James Woods spoke with CNN about the current state of affairs and the unfortunate incident that led to the demolition of his residence.
“One day you’re swimming in the pool and the next day it’s all gone,” he said.
Many events have been scrapped in the Los Angeles region, such as the debuts of Wolf Man, The Pitt, among others. The Critics Choice Awards for 2025 have been rescheduled to January 26, 2025, and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Tea Party has been canceled.
Currently, work on shows like Fallout, Hacks, Grey’s Anatomy, Suits: L.A., Abbott Elementary, Ted, and others slated for filming in affected locations has temporarily halted.
The Hollywood Reporter has compiled a list of charities accepting donations and providing assistance as the Los Angeles wildfire situation progresses. You can access this list by clicking here.
