Police took Bala into custody after a complaint was lodged by his former wife, Amritha Suressh, in the early hours of October 14. This incident occurred at his residence in Edappally. He is currently facing charges under the Juvenile Justice Act. Following Bala’s arrest, Amritha chose to speak up about the difficulties she and her daughter have experienced since their separation from him.

The suffering was so intense that it began to affect my daughter. I decided to leave the house when things escalated. Even after our divorce, I hoped for a peaceful life, but he persistently followed us. Our tranquility was shattered by relentless harassment on social media, and even attending school became burdensome.
Amritha disclosed that Bala posed persistent troubles for them, and eventually, it grew too painful since it impacted their daughter Avantika. Moreover, she accused the actor of being indifferent towards meeting their daughter following their separation.
Amritha pointed out that according to their divorce settlement, Bala was supposed to help cover the costs of their daughter’s wedding. She further explained that a Rs 15 lakh insurance policy had been purchased for their daughter, but Bala failed to make any payments towards it. Suressh emphasized that not only did the accused neglect to pay premiums, but he also never asked to see their daughter at all.
According to the report, it was claimed that Bala’s divorce settlement was on the lower end, but they’ve been accused of stealing large sums of money. Additionally, Amritha revealed that her call records were leaked and they faced untrue accusations during interviews. In conclusion, she stated emphatically that the allegations of embezzling large amounts were completely false.
However, as we speak, Bala is undergoing interrogation at the Kadavanthra Police Station and is expected to make a court appearance later this evening.
