Abhishek Bachchan hailed Rajinikanth invincible at 74, dared anyone to match up to his ‘Rajni uncle’: Throwback

As an ardent admirer of the timeless Thalaiva, Rajinikanth, I can confidently say that his journey through Indian cinema is nothing short of extraordinary. His impact transcends age and geography, touching hearts across generations and borders.

Rajinikanth is a beloved figure in Indian cinema who’s touched countless hearts over his long career. His powerful performances serve as a testament to his talent. Many, including Amitabh Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan, have found inspiration from him. Here’s a throwback to a heartfelt comment made by the Guru actor about the superstar.

In a past interview, Junior Bachchan affectionately referred to Rajinikanth as “Uncle Rajni.” He boldly stated that no actor in the current Indian film scene could replicate the extraordinary work that the superstar, who is now 74 years old, is accomplishing at this time.

Implying how age has really been just a number for the Vettaiyan actor, Abhishek said, “I dare anyone to do what Rajini uncle is doing at 74 years and prove it.. Not possible  That’s why there is only @rajinikanth.”

It’s hard to deny that Rajinikanth has been consistently delivering vibrant performances in one movie after another, particularly over the past few years. Beginning with the release of Lingaa in 2014, he’s followed up with a string of blockbusters such as Kabali, Kaala, 2.0, Petra, Jailer, Lal Salaam and most recently, Vettaiyan.

The actor appears to grow in grace and excellence much like a superior vintage wine, consistently aiming to surpass himself with every new project he takes on. Furthermore, his ability to execute thrilling action scenes flawlessly and perform energetic dance routines at his advanced age serves as a testament to his unwavering commitment to his artistry.
