In the preview for A Working Man, Statham portrays a construction worker who possesses remarkable fighting abilities. When his employer’s daughter is abducted by human traffickers, he finds himself in perilous circumstances as he endeavors to rescue her. David Harbour makes an appearance in the trailer as a “blind war comrade” of Statham’s character who remains unaware of his own blindness.
Besides Statham and Harbour, the film “A Working Man” also features Jason Flemyng, Merab Ninidze, Maximilian Osinski, Cokey Falkow, Michael Peña, Noemi Gonzalez, Arianna Rivas, Emmett J. Scanlan, and Eve Mauro in its star-studded cast.
After retiring from a distinguished military service in covert operations, Levon Cade chose a humble life as a construction worker. However, when the daughter of his beloved boss – almost like family – is kidnapped by human traffickers, he embarks on a quest to rescue her. In doing so, he stumbles upon a web of corruption that surpasses anything he had previously imagined.
In collaboration, Ayer and Sylvester Stallone jointly penned the script for the film “A Working Man.” This movie is an adaptation from a 2014 novel called “Levon’s Trade,” written by Chuck Dixon.
In the making of this movie, Statham, Ayer, and Stallone collaborate with Chris Long, John Friedberg, Bill Block, and Kevin King Templeton. Meanwhile, Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Heimler, Mike Shanks, Jill Silfen, Volodymyr Artemenko, Yevgen Stupka, Alexis Garcia, Rachael Cole, and Thomas Zadra all take on executive producer roles.
In U.S. cinemas, “A Working Man” by Amazon MGM Studios is set for release on March 28, 2025.
