The original film, with its chilling storyline and iconic villain, Freddy Krueger, has left a lasting impression on me since my early gaming days, where the character was featured in various games that sent shivers down my spine.


To mark its 40th anniversary, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has unveiled the scheduled release dates for the 4K and Blu-ray versions of a remastered edition of Wes Craven’s 1984 horror thriller “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, featuring Robert Englund in the starring role.

In the realm of chilling horror films, there’s one that kick-started a cinematic saga, where an unrecognizably disfigured man, unjustly killed by a vengeful mob, haunts the nightmares of his tormentor’s offspring years later. When is the A Nightmare on Elm Street 4K release date?

Starting October 1st, I’ll be able to grab the spooktacular 4K Ultra HD version of A Nightmare on Elm Street on digital platforms like Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Fandango at Home, and more. If you prefer physical copies, mark your calendars for October 15th when it hits 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc, available online and in stores at major retailers.
