Summary
- LEGO and Nike have officially presented their first set of collaborative products
- A LEGO x Nike Dunk Low was teased with a glossy one-piece upper in white carrying printed overlays in black
- Release is set to take place on September 1, possibly as an exclusive for kids
Throughout this year, one ongoing topic we’ve been monitoring is the fresh collaboration between LEGO and Nike. As May winds down, they have unveiled their initial product lineup. This includes a 1,180-piece collection that replicates the Dunk High, in addition to sneakers themed around LEGO.
Earlier this week, we took a sneak peek at an exclusive LEGO x Nike Air Max Dn model in “Tour Yellow”, and now, the partnership has unveiled not just that pair but also hinted at a collaboration with the Nike Dunk Low. A single image preview shows the shoe eschewing its standard overlays for a one-piece upper design. However, the overlays are still present, albeit in a comic-style representation where they seem to be “drawn” onto the sneaker, providing a striking black contrast against its glossy white base. Similar to the Air Max Dn, the LEGO logo is featured on the tongue tag.
Nike has announced its timeline for the launch of its new collaboration with LEGO. The Nike Dunk LEGO collection is set to debut at the start of July, followed by the LEGO x Nike Air Max Dn in early August, and the LEGO x Nike Dunk Low on September 1st, potentially exclusively for children. Keep an eye out for further updates, including a comprehensive view of this joint color scheme, and stay tuned for more news about the LEGO x Nike partnership as they’ve hinted at unveiling additional shoes and clothing later in the year.
