As a seasoned gamer of soap operas and a dedicated follower of The Bold and the Beautiful, I can’t help but be enthralled by the current plotline. It’s like a high-stakes game of Clue, where everyone is suspect and no one is safe.
The plot involving the murder mystery on “The Bold and the Beautiful” is progressing smoothly! In fact, we can omit the ‘mystery’ part since the identity of Il Giardino Killer has been revealed as Luna Nozawa. All that remains is for everyone else to catch up with this shocking revelation.
Steffy Forrester has outpaced everyone around her. Her impulsive decision to confront Luna followed her witnessing Luna kiss Bill, and this led the angry intern to imprison her boss in a cage and take her hostage. What’s not known is that Steffy is absent because she informed those close to her that she was departing town, intending to gather her thoughts after discovering that Finn, her spouse, had been kissed by Hope, her rival.
It’s clear that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will continue playing Steffy on the soap opera, so we can expect to see her character again. However, even though Luna provided water and some granola bars for her, Steffy isn’t eating, which means she could be severely dehydrated and malnourished by the time she’s found, assuming no other misfortunes occur before her rescue.
In another scenario, Luna might reconsider her actions and administer a larger amount of the drug she used to kill Tom and Hollis, leaving Steffy unconscious until the demolition of the apartment building. This could potentially put Steffy in a life-threatening situation. However, the hint of a specific Forrester’s return adds an interesting twist to the storyline.
Bridget Forrester looks to be on her way back to Bold and the Beautiful
Although it hasn’t been officially announced that Ashley Jones will return as Dr. Bridget Forrester, she recently posted two videos on Instagram showing her on set. This suggests that her character, Brooke and Eric’s daughter, may make an appearance on the soap opera this fall.
Jones shared his first post on the day following the news that Kaleo frontman Jökull Júliusson was set to appear as himself on The Bold and the Beautiful. Filming took place on August 19, with the episode scheduled to air on September 27. There’s a chance Bridget might also make an appearance around that time. Given that Júliusson will be performing “Way Down We Go” for the episode, I suspect his role could be connected to the Il Giardino murder storyline.
Bridget is a doctor, even if she isn’t called in to help on a possible medical emergency with Steffy triggered by her time held captive, she could be brought in to assist if someone else is harmed by Luna in the event the young woman isn’t apprehended before the end of September. Or perhaps she’ll be in town for Hope. Something isn’t quite right with her little sister and the Logans may need every hand on deck to figure out if this is misplaced feelings, obsession, or something far more grave.
