The Mighty Nein On Prime: Critical Role’s Second Campaign Finally Got A Release Date

The adventure begins, they were always beside you!

Delight, Critical Role fans! At long last, we have a confirmed launch date for the eagerly awaited animated series centering around The Mighty Nein. What initially began as some enthusiastic role-players engaging in Dungeons and Dragons has blossomed into a lucrative treasure trove of entertainment, and deservedly so.

The Mighty Nein Premiere In November

Following “The Legend of Vox Machina,” another thrilling group of adventurers is set to grace our screens in animated form on Prime Video. The Mighty Nein will debut on the streaming platform on November 19, 2025. Here’s a sneak peek at them!

It seems you’re referring to one of two groups. Is it “The Mighty Nein” or “The Sensual Seven”? Whichever it may be, they are set to make their exclusive appearance on Amazon Prime Video on November 19th!

Almost everyone from our group has shown up – Yasha is conspicuously missing. Not being able to witness the Aasimar barbarian in action might make me feel a bit disappointed on a personal level, but given the excitement (and how it aligns with the current storyline the preview provides), I can overlook that.

The Mighty Nein’s Cast Is What We Like To Call A Nat 20 Performance Check

It’s completely expected that the main cast of CritRole will once again embody their famous characters.

  • Marisha Ray as Beau
  • Liam O’Brien as Caleb (speaking German – I mean, Zemnian)
  • Taliesin Jaffe as Mollymauk (if you know, you know)
  • Sam Riegel as Nott
  • Travis Willingham as Fjord
  • Laura Bailey as Jester
  • Matthew Mercer as… lots of people, including a prison guard, and of course, the one and only Essek

Ashley Johnson will once again take on the character of Yasha, although her appearance hasn’t been shown yet. In the initial campaign, she had to miss numerous sessions due to her work on the widely acclaimed game, The Last of Us. However, Yasha is likely to receive significant attention in the upcoming animated series, just like Pike did in The Legend of Vox Machina, despite Ashley’s hectic schedule and extended absences from gameplay.

The lively Critical Role series features an impressive roster of guest stars that can bring tears of happiness to fans’ eyes, and the Mighty Nein are no exception to this rule. So far, Robbie Daymond, Jonathan Frakes, Tim McGraw, Mark Strong, Alan Cumming, Anika Noni Rose, Ming-Na Wen, Auli’i Cravalhi, and Rahul Kohli have been confirmed to make an appearance, although the specific roles they will play are yet to be revealed.

Friends, it’s an exciting time for Critical Role enthusiasts! We’ve got a video game in development, two animated series almost ready to be released, and the highly anticipated Mighty Nein storyline, cherished by many, set to appear on our screens this year.
