Ahsoka Season 2: First Look Photo Gives Fan-Favorite Character a New Costume

A new Ahsoka Season 2 image reveals Ezra Bridger’s new costume.

In August 2023, the initial installment of Lucasfilm’s Ahsoka show debuted on Disney+. This series was overseen by Dave Filoni in his role as showrunner, featuring Rosario Dawson portraying Ahsoka Tano, Natasha Liu Bordizzo playing Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead embodying Hera Syndulla, and Eman Esfandi taking on the character of Ezra Bridger.

What does Ezra Bridger’s new costume look like in Ahsoka Season 2?

StarWars.com has just released the initial photograph showcasing Ezra Bridger, portrayed by Esfandi, and his updated outfit in season 2 of Ahsoka. Check out the image displayed below for yourself.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but feel excited about the upcoming details for Ahsoka Season 2! Although specific plot points are still being kept under lock and key, one thing is certain – Rory McCann, famously known for his role as Sandor “The Hound” Clegane in Game of Thrones, will be stepping into the shoes of Baylan Skoll. Previously, this character was portrayed by Ray Stevenson, who unfortunately passed away in 2023 during Season 1. This change promises an intriguing twist to the storyline!

As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Hayden Christensen is making a comeback as Anakin Skywalker, a piece of news that emerged from the Star Wars Celebration event held in Tokyo, Japan earlier this year. Moreover, at the same event, Dave Filoni dropped an exciting tidbit: Admiral Ackbar will be facing off against Grand Admiral Thrawn in Season 2, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the first season, Ahsoka Tano, who was once a Padawan under Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars, is probing a fresh danger threatening the galaxy following the collapse of the Empire. Along the way, she reconnects with her old apprentice Sabine Wren, while whispers about the return of the sinister Thrawn grow louder.

Ahsoka Season 2 is currently in production. A Disney+ premiere date has not yet been set.

Dave Filoni, apart from being involved, also contributed to writing the script for the upcoming Star Wars film titled “The Mandalorian and Grogu.” This movie, starring Pedro Pascal again as the main character, is directed by Jon Favreau and set to hit U.S. theaters on May 22, 2026.
