Masters of the Universe Video Reveals New Logo for Live-Action Movie

Amazon Studios and MGM have unveiled the title emblem for their eagerly awaited “Masters of the Universe” film, which is based on Mattel’s renowned toy line. A video showcasing the movie’s title in various languages was used to debut this logo. The live-action version will hit cinemas on June 5, 2026.

The story revolves around 10-year-old Prince Adam who accidentally landed on Earth inside a spaceship and lost his enchanted Power Sword, which is his only connection to his home planet Eternia. After nearly two decades, he locates the sword. Upon his return to space, Prince Adam embarks on a mission to protect his native planet from the wicked forces of Skeletor. To vanquish such a formidable adversary, however, Prince Adam must first discover the secrets of his past and transform into He-Man: the mightiest being in the cosmos!

Who is in the new Masters of the Universe movie?

In this new adaptation of Masters of the Universe, Nicholas Galitzine (known for Red, White & Royal Blue and Bottoms) steps into the iconic role of He-Man. Joining him is Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson as Goat Man, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, and a host of other talented actors.

The film was directed by Travis Knight, who worked from a screenplay penned by Chris Butler. This script was developed from an early draft by David Callaham and Aaron and Adam Nee. The production companies are Escape Artists and Mattel Films, with Robbie Brenner, Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch serving as producers. Filming for the live-action version of the movie concluded last June.
