Lionsgate has revealed when you can watch “Freaky Tales” on HBO Max – this is the upcoming action comedy anthology movie featuring Pedro Pascal, who stars as The Fantastic Four in their first steps. After its premiere, it’s been generally praised by both critics and viewers alike. At present, it has an 89% rating on Popcornmeter according to Rotten Tomatoes.
The movie, released in 1987, takes place in Oakland and weaves together a variety of vibrant characters – an NBA player, a crooked police officer, a female rap duo, rebellious teenagers, white supremacists, and a debt collector – all on a path to clash in a frenzied sequence of confrontations. This gritty mix of intense action, sharp wit, gruesome violence, and clever plot twists promises an exhilarating journey.
When is the HBO Max release date for Pedro Pascal’s Freaky Tales?
Starting this coming Friday, the 8th of August, I’ll have the chance to dive into the chilling world of Freaky Tales, exclusively on HBO Max! The following day, it’s set to make its TV premiere on good ol’ HBO, on Saturday, the 9th of August. Can’t wait!
