In the recently unveiled trailer for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, there’s a new Mega Evolution that we can expect, and this is something fans have been eagerly waiting for more than ten years. The first new Mega Pokémon to be featured in Pokemon Legends: Z-A is none other than the long-awaited Mega Dragonite!
During the latest Pokemon Presents event, the new trailer for Pokemon Legends: Z-A was unveiled. In it, we witness a player transforming their Dragonite into its Mega form to battle an unruly Mega Tyranitar. The upcoming game, Pokemon Legends: Z-A, will include wild Pokemon that undergo Mega Evolution spontaneously and wreak havoc, with players challenged to put a stop to them.
In its design, Mega Dragonite draws influence from its earlier form, Dragonair. It boasts expansive white wings on both its head and ankles, and carries a substantial pearl on its tail. Classified as a Dragon/Flying type, this powerful creature is prominently featured with its pre-evolutions in the trailer for Legends: Z-A, suggesting that it can be acquired through normal gameplay progression.
On October 16, 2025, the much-anticipated game “Pokemon Legends: Z-A” will hit the shelves. Excitingly, Nintendo has unveiled a special bundle for their upcoming Switch 2 console that includes the console itself and the exclusive “Switch 2 Edition” of Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
