Digital Extremes unveiled “The Era of Tranquility,” during their Warframe keynote at TennoCon 2025. This primary Quest takes players on a journey to a time when Sentients and Orokin were at peace. The announcement trailer offers a sneak peek into the characters players will interact with and the experiences they’ll have in this new storyline.
Digital Extremes has made a two-part announcement – firstly, they revealed that The Old Peace will serve as the foundation for Warframe’s 2026 narrative segment, Tau. This significant update to the sci-fi game is anticipated to offer a wealth of new content for players to delve into.
In the upcoming autumn update, players may anticipate receiving the 62nd Warframe as well. It’s also been confirmed by Digital Extremes that the overhaul of Oberon will be part of this very same update, with further information on this topic to be revealed during a September Devstream.
