Universal Pictures has unveiled the latest trailer for the upcoming action thriller sequel, “Nobody 2“. Set to hit theaters on August 15th, this highly-anticipated film starring Bob Odenkirk is now taking ticket reservations.
Four years ago, Hutch unwittingly got mixed up with the Russian mafia, owing them $30 million and continuing to pay off his debt by carrying out a long series of assassinations on global criminals. Despite enjoying the thrill of his work, Hutch and his wife Becca are overwhelmed and growing apart due to their demanding lifestyle. In an attempt to reconnect as a family, they decide to take their children on a brief trip to Wild Bill’s Majestic Midway and Waterpark, a place where Hutch and his brother Harry vacationed as kids. With Hutch’s father accompanying them, the family travels to the small tourist town of Plummerville, looking forward to some relaxation and enjoyment.

What happens in the new Nobody 2 trailer?
The video provides fans with an up-close look at Odenkirk reprising his role as Hutch, whose peaceful family holiday takes an unexpected turn for the worse when he inadvertently leads them to the most hazardous location known. Additionally, the trailer showcases additional clips of Sharon Stone’s malevolent character, Lendina, who is set to debut as the head of a smuggling syndicate.
In this sequel titled “Nobody 2”, Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto takes the helm, with a screenplay penned by Derek Kolstad (creator of the John Wick franchise), along with Aaron Rabin, Umair Aleem, and Bob Odenkirk. The cast includes Connie Nielsen, John Ortiz, RZA, Colin Hanks, Christopher Lloyd, Michael Ironside, Billy MacLellan, Gage Munroe, among others.
The movie was created by Kelly McCormick and David Leitch at 87North, Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero at Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, and Braden Aftergood at Eighty Two Films. Its initial release was met with favorable reviews from critics. Additionally, it grossed more than $57 million globally on a reported budget of approximately $16 million.
