In a show of solidarity, Snow White actress Rachel Zegler voiced her sorrow by saying, “I’m extremely upset. I absolutely love you, Stephen.” Similarly, Grammy-winning musician and fellow colleague of Colbert, Jon Batiste, expressed his admiration with the words, “Simply the best.
Jimmy Kimmel, another popular TV host, expressed his support for Stephen Colbert too. He posted a comment on Instagram about the cancellation of The Late Show, saying, “I love you Stephen, and I’ve got some choice words for you and all your ‘Sheldons’ over at CBS.
Emmy-winning actor Ben Stiller expressed his sorrow on a social media platform (previously known as Twitter) over CBS cancelling one of their top shows. He wrote, “I’m sorry to hear about the cancellation of such a great show. I hope all those who worked tirelessly on it find success in their future endeavors.
